Greg Hinz has some of the details behind Mayor Rahm Emanuel's crackdown on city credit card use, and they don't speak well of some municipal employees.

To wit: Comptroller Amer Ahmad found a $21,000 charge for an executive coaching session, a $1,098 charge for a group dinner in Reno, and $5,000 for an appreciation event.

Perhaps that last one was to appreciate the guy who issued all the city credit cards?
