Despite huge shortfall, Preckwinkle has no regrets on sales tax cut

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle said Thursday she doesn’t regret pushing for next year’s slight rollback of the county’s sales tax even though the revenue losses are contributing to a forecasted $300 million-plus budget deficit in 2012.
