The Chicago Cultural Center Foundation, a linchpin in the city's art-funding world and a pet project of former Chicago First Lady Maggie Daley, is closing.
I wrote about the organization's travails last month, noting that the foundation received annual six-figure contributions from the city when Richard M. Daley was mayor.
Those contributions have since stopped. The Trib reports the foundation will wrap up operations over the next several weeks.
