Terrence O’Brien picked up a big endorsement yesterday, earning the backing of the Fraternal Order of Police.
The Chicago police union, which represents the city's more than 13,000 officers, praised O’Brien’s leadership as president of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District.
“We believe there is no other candidate in this race who has the track record of fiscal accountability of Terry O'Brien. We trust that he will protect the taxpayers, but that he will not sacrifice their safety,” said FOP President Mark Donahue, in a statement. Read more...
