Questions regarding the hiring practices of Todd Stroger’s administration continue to pop up.
Today, Fox News Chicago reports that the grandson of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan was hired to work as a business manager in the county’s Facilities Management department Oct. 26, a few days after his father, Leonard Muhammad, endorsed Stroger. Yesterday was the final day for candidates running for office in Cook County to challenge opponents’ petitions or withdraw from the race.
The biggest news, of course, was U.S. Rep. Danny Davis, who backed out of the race for Todd Stroger's job, citing the need for party unity.
